john boehner, though, has been really pushing back. he had the news conference yesterday and this is what he said. >> we're still waiting for the white house to identify what spending cuts the president is willing to make as part of the balanced approach that he promised the american people. where are the president's spending cuts? the longer the white house slow walks this process, the closer our economy gets to the fiscal cliff. >> so obviously, republicans are trying to change the conversation from taxes to cuts. what do they want? >> well, they want entitlement reform and what we've seen is that the white house has moved a little bit. the president seems to be open to some form of entitlement reform, maybe not what john boehner wants, but they have said in the last couple of days that they will do corporate tax reform. so we are seeing some movement from the white house, but nothing yet from the house republicans. >> all right. john boehner just came to the microphone. he's just met with his caucus. let's see if he has anything new
